Fuel efficiency and price

If your ride takes you on a lot of short trips—which doesn’t make a great deal of sense, but it happens—the Qute’s mileage ratings could save you plenty of money at gas stations. As previously mentioned, its new engine is efficient and will return 43 kmpl in city and 51 kmpl on highways. For comparison, Maruti Suzuki’s Alto 800 can only return 41 kmpl in cities and 37 kmpl on highways. And if you’re looking for value for money (we are), then you might want to consider that price wise too, it fares well compared to other small cars like Maruti Suzuki’s Alto 800, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent.

Has it won any awards?

The bajaj qute won three awards in 2013 for its safety features. It was recognized as a Top Safety Pick by IIHS, received a 5 star rating from Global NCAP and also received a Gold Award from iF Design. These prestigious recognitions have made it an extremely attractive vehicle to purchase; while they may not be enough to make you choose one over another motorcycle brand, they are a sign of Bajaj’s focus on safety and quality.

Competitors

The RE60 is set to compete with two-wheelers on very high volumes. In 2015, more than 70 lakh two-wheelers were sold in India—and that number is expected to grow by nearly 10% a year over the next five years.
